Welcome to the Disney Lorcana Challenge European Championship at Disneyland Paris, December 6-8! Enjoy a variety of activities and competitive tournaments tailored for Disney fans. Whether you’re competing or just experiencing the Disney atmosphere, memorable moments are guaranteed for all. Join us for a weekend filled with community, competition and fun!

Different slots, different experiences

In addition to spectating the Main Event rounds, attendees can enjoy different exclusive Disney Lorcana experiences and activities during each slot. Attendees will have the option of playing games of Disney Lorcana TCG at the event. More information about activities and experiences will be revealed soon.

This slot structure is created to grant as many Disney Fans the opportunity to come by and enjoy the experience.
Tickets guarantee access to the hall for a specifically pre-booked slot.

Saturday
10:00 – 14:00: Morning Slot
14:30 – 18:30: Afternoon Slot
19:00 – 23:00: Evening Slot

Sunday
10:00 – 15:00: Morning Slot
16:00 – 21:00: Finals Slot

Note: Children under the age of 12 may enter free of charge while accompanied by a ticketed adult (18+)

*You will be signed up for 32 player pods of which each will only have one winner. If you lose in Round 1 or Round 2, you will be enrolled in a free side event which includes small prizes.

** Attendees Tickets will also include the opportunity to purchase discounted Park entry. More details soon.

*** You can either play Advanced constructed with your own deck, or Pack Rush. This is considered casual play – you will get 2 boosters per Voucher and the winner will receive 1 additional booster

Qualified players and their +1 will have access to the Main hall and the Competitor Rest Area all weekend long.

Attendees will have access to the hall based on the slot they booked.

Main tournament info

At the center stage of the European Championship, we have the Disney Lorcana Challenge Main Event. All year long, Illumineers have competed for a seat at the table of this first exclusive invitational event! 

Details on the Championship format, promos, and prizing will be revealed soon. Stay tuned for this info!

In addition to the Illumineers who qualified through the past 4 European Challenges, we still have 32 slots for this event which will be assigned during the Friday Last Chance Qualifiers!

 

Disney Lorcana Quest

Explore the Disney Lorcana Quest area at the Disney Lorcana Challenge European Championship. Each visitor gets a special passport on entry, guiding them through a series of Disney activities and challenges.

Illumineers who engage in these challenges will collect stamps as they explore the Disney Lorcana Quest area. Fill out your passport, and you’ll receive an additional reward. Join the fun and engage in an unforgettable experience!

Last Chance Qualifiers

On Friday, we are hosting the Last Chance Qualifiers (LCQ)! These are the very Last Chance to earn a qualification into the European Championship Main Event.

We are aware many in the community are extremely excited to compete for these Last Chance Qualifiers. The seats in these tournaments are limited. These tournaments will be Single Elimination and played in BO3 format! The tournaments will be different sizes based on available venue space and participants will be assigned an LCQ tournament slot after they have locked in their ticket.

We expect a large number of participants to be interested in playing the LCQ. All those interested in participating in an LCQ should fill out a form to express their interest. About 1024 of the interested Illumineers will receive an invitation to lock in their LCQ ticket for which they will have a 48-hour window. All tickets that were not picked up, will be reallocated and new invites will be sent out.

All participants of the LCQ will receive 1 Attendee Ticket for a randomly allocated slot on Saturday.

The form to express interest in the LCQ will be available on this page starting Wednesday, October 23, at 8 PM CEST.

FAQ

Pokémon Regional Championships are Premier events in which you can battle in Pokémon TCG, Video Game, or Pokémon GO Regional Championships. They take place all over the world. No qualifications or residency restrictions are needed to enter these events. Pokémon TCG players need to bring their own legal 60-card deck for the Standard format. Pokémon GO players must have a legal Pokémon team on their Pokémon GO account.

In order to participate, players must have a Pokémon Trainer Club account, stand in good standing with the Play! Pokémon program, and comply with the current Play! Pokémon COVID-19 Protocols for Premier events.

Pokémon TCG players need to bring their own legal 60-card deck for the Standard format. Pokémon Video Game players must bring their own game system, their own Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet game, and a legal Pokémon team. Pokémon GO players must have a legal Pokémon team on their Pokémon GO account.

In order to participate, players must have a Pokémon Trainer Club account, be in good standing with the Play! Pokémon program, and comply with the current Play! Pokémon COVID-19 Protocols for Premier events.

In order to take part in the Regional Championship, you first need to register for the event. Most Regional Championships require online registration, and events may sell out. You can find more information on the official page.

The Play! Pokémon program divides players into tournament groups based on the year they were born. These groups are the Junior, Senior, and Masters Divisions. Whenever possible, players are paired with other players in the same age division. Prizes are typically awarded to the best players in each age division.

These are the age divisions for the 2024 season:

Juniors: born in 2012 or later
Seniors: born in 2008 to 2011
Masters: born in 2007 or earlier

Parents should remain on site to keep track of their children and, of course, celebrate their play. Tournaments usually take several hours, so parents might want to bring a book or some other quiet activity to occupy their time. We encourage parents to build a deck and join the fun!

Guardians don’t need to book a separate ticket! When an underage player registers, a single spectator ticket for their guardian will be included for free. You will need to register for additional tickets.

Tournament Entry for a Special Event is Free but is handled on a first-come-first-served basis and tickets are limited

Spectator tickets become available together with the player tickets.
There is a limited number available, based upon the capacity of the hall.

If you want to enter the hall, or play Side Events, you do require a spectator ticket. Spectator tickets can only be obtained online, you can not register on-site.

Series 2 of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will begin on February 1st. Series 2 will last until March 31st, and then the game will transition into Series 3 rulesets.

You are allowed to trade cards with your friends and other players.
Buying and selling, however, is only allowed with the official vendors that are present at the event. If you are caught buying and selling you will be removed from the tournament hall.

  • Bags larger than 9″ x 14″ x 22″ (23 cm x 36 cm x 56 cm). If an airline would not classify it as a carry-on, it is too big.
  • Alcoholic beverages or any illegal substance
  • Apparel, objects, or signs with explicit wording or pictures
  • Animals (other than service animals)

Animals (other than service animals) are not allowed in the hall.

The rules of the venue state that visitors are not allowed to bring or consume outside food.

Anyone who requires a guardian can register them for free when purchasing their ticket. These guardians will be issued a spectator ticket. If you can’t register a guardian with your ticket purchase, please contact our Customer support with your information and ticket number.
